TEDx Brighton

26th OCTOBER 2018

It’s an honour to be speaking at TEDx Brighton and it’s a special place for me as it’s where my campaign How Many Elephants was born, whilst I was studying for a Masters in Sustainable Design.

My talk is entitled ‘Design For Wildlife’.

The day will be packed to the seams with inspiring speakers, life-changing stories and amazing entertainment. Featuring around 20 talks across the whole day, it will be a poetically vast and unavoidably exciting topic, which will leave you feeling energised and inspired for living your own wonderful adventures.

Wildlife & Safari Travel Show

29th September 2018, 10.40am
Harrogate Convention Centre.

I’m delighted to be the opening speaker for the inaugural Wildlife & Safari Travel Show 2018! I will be sharing tales of being on the frontline with The Black Mambas, an all-female frontline anti poaching team in Africa.

I will also be showcasing my ‘How Many Elephants’ Exhibition, stationary collection and global petition colouring corner! It promises to be an unmissable event giving you the opportunity to explore the incredible world of wildlife, safari and conservation travel from all the corners of our amazing planet.

GUINNESS WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT

Ongoing.

Holly was quite literally on top of the world when she summited Mount Everest to raise global awareness of the devastating impact of the elephant ivory trade and of her award-winning campaign, How Many Elephants. She will be attempting her third Guinness World Record to build the largest paper mache structure to beat the current record of 3.82m. The largest recorded African bull elephant was measured at 3.96m so it makes perfect sense for Holly to build an elephant made entirely in paper mache, to raise awareness of the African elephant crisis, attempt a new world record and raise funds for anti poaching projects.

“The paper mache elephant idea was inspired by my passion for design and conservation. I wanted to create a meaningful piece of art that had a strong message and big impact. I am humbled by the level of support from local businesses and individuals who have supported the campaign so far. Lots of people want to help a worthwhile cause.”
